Rick Southers is a lifestyle photographer and filmmaker with an emphasis on highlighting the vibrance of the African Diaspora and their experiences. He calls Pittsburgh home but eagerly travels wherever a story needs to be told.

Rick's unique perspective showcases the black experience near and far through vibrant color theory and eye-catching composition. His captivating travel photography has landed his work in Travel & Leisure, Essence, and Travel Noire, as well as working with brands such as Ritz Carlton, Nike Swim, the Mexican Tourism Board, and more. 

Rick’s love of photography stemmed from documenting his own world travels in his early 20s. and it was his passion for visual storytelling that led him to begin capturing important moments for clients. Over the years Rick has amassed a portfolio of travel companies, destination weddings, festivals, and other events spanning the US, Africa, Asia, and Europe.
